Group Due Date Overview:

  1. Group roles, concept, company name:  Due before class May 12th (Monday)
  2. A group text analysis:  Due before class May 13th (Tuesday)
  3. The promptbook: Due by the end of class on May 19th (Monday)
  4. Props, setting, costumes, music etc. must be brought to school by May 20th.
  5. Film Showcase: May 28th (Wednesday)

General Requirements:

  • Class time will be given to work on the project; however, you should be working on your individual responsibilities for homework as well. Due dates are CRUCIAL. Be sure to use your time wisely!
  • In the performance/film, you CANNOT read your lines. You must have all of your lines learned. If you have  lengthy scripts, you should try use props with notes of lines instead of scripts. 
  • Your performance should be 5-7 minutes long. 
  • You should edit the scene to fit your interpretation. You MUST change language to reflect your production concept, but it must remain true to the original story and it should contain figurative language.  It does not need to be in poem form.
  • If creating a film, it must be submitted to Google Classroom prior to the performance day (If it is not ready to go, points will be deducted). Keep in my exporting your film can take a LONG time.

Individual Due Dates:

Tuesday, May 13th - Group Text Analysis due BEFORE class
Tuesday, May 13th - ​Cast List, Table of Contents and Cover due by the END of class
Wednesady, May 14th - Set Design, Research and Props List due by END of period
Thursday, May 15th - Tech List, Costume List, Most of Script due by END of period
Friday, May 16th - Intro Page and Script due by the END of class
Monday, May 19th - Completed promptbooks turned in by the end of class.
Tuesday, May 20th- Props, setting, costumes, etc. must be brought no later than today
May 20th - May 28th - Filming and Editing
Wednesday, May 28th - Film Showcase
